Nesta is our foundation Sec A broodmare and was purchased as a yearling for her bloodlines and relation to the much admired Nerwyn Cadno. Nesta produced an excellent colt foal for us in 2009 who inherited her excellent type and tremendous movement, Lledrith Nefol and is due to foal in August to Farchynys Andreas.

Progeny :

  • Lledrith Nefol

Grey colt with 4 white stockings (foaled buckskin) to make 11hh, foaled 6th July 2009. Nefol was the eagerly awaited first foal out of Nerwyn Nesta by the bay roan junior stallion Amilas Beau Brummel. A lovely deep bodied foal with excellent limbs and movement, Nefol was sold to Daniel Baddely at Four Elms Equestrian Centre, Kent as a future Lead Rein pony.

Hwyl was purchased from Roger Davies of the Hafdre Stud in 2008 for her relation to the stallions Betws Coch Y Bonddu and Stoatley Hydref, both of whom were excellent stock getters. Hwyl is a type hard to find in a Mountain Pony and is a  producer of mainly fillies, all who have inherited her hardy nature and kind disposition. Dam of 2009 filly Lledrith Hermione & 2010 filly Lledrith Harmoni, Hwyl has been running with Barnmeadow Rhys for a 2011 foal.

Progeny :

  • Lledrith Hermione

Chestnut roan filly to make approx 12hh, foaled 26th June 2009. Hermione is out of our most senior mare Hafdre Hwyl and by the chestnut roan stallion Hafdre Prys who is a grandson of Friars Golden Boy. Likely to make a very useful mare of the future in whatever sphere due to her first class temperament and conformation, Hermione has been sold to Birchmores Stud, Wales as a future show/broodmare.

Very typey upstanding mare by Cui Pendragon who is currently based in Holland. Daisybell has been a consistent breeder of quality foals at Bronllys and it is hoped she will make her mark here by providing us with some quality youngstock of the same kind of calibre as herself.
Daisybell was purchased in January this year and has been covered by Supreme Champion, RWAS & RASE winner, HOYS Cuddy Finalist & WPCS Gold medal winner Idyllic Entrepreneur. She is believed to be safely in foal for 2011.

Lovely old fashioned type of mare, predominantly Sec A bred. Bluebell has an abundance of bone with a lovely front and is full of quality. She has a lovely temperament and is broken to ride. Previously a broodmare at Lonlas Stud, Bluebell was gifted to the Deucoch Stud in North Wales after the stud was dispersed. Many thanks to Catrin Hughes at Deucoch for entrusting us with Bluebell for the rest of her days.
Bluebell has been scanned in foal to Farchynys Zircon for 2011.
